Sound familiar?

They liked the product. They said they’d think about it. You never heard from them again.

This book is about the one thing in a business that is revenue rather than cost: the close. It shows you what a buyer is actually buying, and gives you a method for the three rooms you will ever sell in, across a table, from a stage, and on camera, without a single fake deadline or planted buyer.

Buy the book

  • You explain, and they go quiet

Twenty minutes on features and plans, and the buyer, who hasn’t been asked a question yet, says “let me think about it” and means it.

  • “Too expensive” ends every call

You discount the moment you hear it, and still lose the sale, because price was never the real reason.

  • Good talk, no orders

The room was warm, people nodded, and then you said “find me afterwards” and nobody did.

  • Views, comments, and no buyers

You go live, people watch, some even say thanks, and at the moment of the offer you seize up or skip it.

The book

A sale is a transfer of certainty. Here is how to make it, honestly.

Nobody buys a product. They buy the feeling that the decision in front of them is safe, that the person offering it knows what they are doing, and that saying yes moves them towards something they already want. Once you see selling that way, most of what you have been taught about it turns out to be noise, and most of the sales you lost were lost by talking too much.

Part I is the foundation: what a buyer actually pays for, the three walls that stop good people selling, and the state you have to be in to transfer certainty at all. Part II is one-to-one, the quiet close: asking instead of telling, the three questions that find the real objection, and twelve closes that each fit a different kind of hesitation. Part III is one-to-many: how to sell from a stage or a webinar, speak from a frame, tell stories that do the persuading, and run the last twenty minutes where the money is.

Part IV is one-to-everyone: live and short video, from positioning and packaging to content that spreads, keeping a live room alive, and turning viewers into buyers. Part V is short and is about money: the five skills that decide what an owner earns, and why professional excellence is not one of them. The appendices hold the scripts, the fill-in talk frameworks, a live-session run sheet, the checklists and a 30-day plan.

Who it is for

Owners, founders, consultants, coaches, freelancers and salespeople who have to turn interest into orders themselves: anyone who sells across a table, gives talks or webinars that are meant to produce clients, or is building an audience on camera and wants it to pay.

What changes after you read it

Four things you will do differently in your next sales conversation

  • Ask, and let them state your case

Five questions whose honest answers are the beliefs a buyer needs before they buy, so they persuade themselves in their own words.

  • Find the only reason

The three-question sequence that separates the stated objection from the real one and gets a commitment before you solve anything.

  • Close a room, not just a person

A six-part talk frame, three stories mapped to the room’s objections, and a nine-part close that takes the full twenty minutes it needs.

  • Sell on camera without seizing up

Positioning, a five-step clip script, a timed run sheet for live sessions, and the honest way to make a room feel alive.

From the book

The close is the only thing that is revenue.

I have started more than a dozen companies in Hong Kong, Canada and Japan, built them into businesses that made money, and sold them. People assume the hard part was the product, or the financing, or the exit. It was not. In every one of those companies the hard part was the same, and it arrived on the first day: somebody had to sit across from a stranger, or stand in front of a room, or talk into a camera, and turn interest into a signed order.

People buy certainty. They do not buy products, features, or even benefits. They buy the feeling that the decision in front of them is safe. Your job in a close is not to convince. It is to transfer certainty from your side of the table to theirs, and to do it honestly, because manufactured certainty is fraud and it comes back to you with interest.

Questions readers ask

I’m not a salesperson. Is this for me?

It is written for people who have to sell their own work and never trained for it: owners, consultants, coaches, freelancers. It assumes no sales background, and the method is built on asking questions rather than performing, which is why quiet people tend to do well with it.

Is it pushy?

No, and it argues against pushing. There are no fake deadlines, no planted buyers and no invented testimonials in it. Every close in the book passes one test: you would be comfortable if the buyer read the chapter and knew exactly what you were doing.

Does it cover selling online and on video?

Yes. Part IV is about live and short video on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn: positioning, a five-step clip script, the five numbers the platforms watch, a timed run sheet for a live session, and how to move viewers into your own channel and then into buyers.

Why US$29.99 for a PDF?

Because one extra close pays for it many times over. You get the full method for all three settings, the twelve scripts, the talk frameworks and the run sheet, and if it doesn’t give you a close you can use in your next conversation, you get your money back.

What is the close review?

You send two recordings of real sales conversations, or the draft of a talk, and the author sends back a written review of where each one was lost and what to say instead, followed by a private 45-minute call. It is the fastest way to find out which of the twelve closes your conversations are missing.

Does it work outside the United States?

Yes. The method does not depend on any country, and the examples are deliberately general. Prices are shown in US dollars as examples. Where consumer or advertising rules affect what you may promise, the book says so and tells you to check the rules where you sell.
